Let me covey by listing out; 1. Pay: Freshers gets 12k in-hand, and the workload will be like of 3 years experience one. Once completed 1 year, your will get 3/4k as of increment. Means, you will be struggling every now and then. 2. Work culture: You will be called like anytime, no matter it's your birthday, someone died, no matter what. You have to come and stay for long as long as you haven't finished. 3. Management: There is no such concept, one person is incharge and will tell you to do stuffs and sets rules like wise. And that rules are never in favour of the employees, only benefits the ego of the head. 4. Commitment: Even the designated person like Global IT Head will fake promise. And if you ask, that "sir gave a commitment" then the HR/Admin will state it like, have they given you on papers, if not than that's not valid. Very bad. 5. Office politics: This is what they are good at. Fake promises, mocking every now and then. This is just what every single senior is doing....Read More

New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me.
