Learning curve is really good. There's no preset time for login and logout, however one is expected to finish his/her dependencies and make proper deliveries. Team is very supportive and encouraging. Good environment to learn and develop skillset.

Dislikes

Although the employee benefits at Codewave are satisfactory, there is a room for improvement. Giving additional incentives and bonuses would motivate the employee to amplify their work and skills helping them achieve the career growth that they desire for.

The good thing is - collaboration is given equal importance as much as competence. In my previous companies, I've seen 'competent jerks' being celebrated and people who are great at connection & collaboration often get underestimated in business. Here, being dependable to others, being self managed & being collaborative are as important as being intellectually sound & achieving targets. Because there's high autonomy & freedom in the workplace, often because of somebody's irresponsible behavior, the whole team ends up suffering the consequences, specially if critical feedback is not given effectively on time. When I see mediocre behavior being tolerated sometimes on compassionate grounds, it can test a lot of hardworking people's patience. Hiring or retaining people who can't draw the boundary between freedom and responsibility, can often do more harm than good.
