Working hours: Literally long working hours of 12-14 hrs in a day with no overtime payment. Your mental health is taken for granted. Daily burn out is inevitable, so leaves are a necessity rather than luxury. - Work culture: PATHETIC! I repeat, PATHETIC. Lot's of micro-management. Trust issues, poor leadership, most of their time spent on creating pressure on team. Hierarchy is a joke here. Overloaded with work with handful team members. Daily burnout is basic here! - Technology: Usage of outdated technologies. Most projects are just using technologies & applications 8-10 yrs old and are already outdated. - Growth: You're expected to deliver, not grow! Bonus is quite less as compared to orher banks I feel. Its a big company so lobby is a concern which mostly big shot company has. Rest all is fine until you meet with bad bosses.

Don't ever work on contract. They treat u like shit, Max year u can work is 3 after that no renewal and all these 3 year no incriment no appraisal no bonus nthg. Your vendor will not take any responsibility. There you won't get any additional skill to add in ur professional journey

Not able to utilize leaves, weekend working for production, etc. developer is everything, no one blames tester, PM, tech support, BA, agile coaches, scrum masters, etc. no technical growth, dead slow progress in technical and non technical aspects, you are treated as donkeys and freshers even after having 10-16 yrs exp. managers dont have enough free hand to take even minor decisions, appraisals dont have transparency, too much work load (mngt dont increase workforce or try to negotiate with client on release scope) as a result work never ends. no one cares if you are alive or healthy though org provides good health benefits. you will have to carry laptops when on leave, HR dont help with anything. You interact with them only during onboarding, later they vanish in air. Lots of processes and strict policies which bothers you now and then and makes you think about job security each moment you work for the company. Only 5% is actual core technical work, rest all is process/policies/approvals/followups/meetings/onboarding activities/release planning/budget planning/productivity planning/etc. If you by chance sit in other Bus (diff<mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;">. shift timings) you will get an email like you done a big sin asking for a justification keeping dept head and all seniors in CC</mark>. No one cares if a PC is working or not, wires connected properly or not,. You may not get a seat if you go to office and need to come back home travelling all 30 kms in such case. Even managers cant support you for that. Cant access Salary slips out of org network. There is too-complex process to share salary slips over personal email.
