Hi, Joined the bank on 10th of Nov.1975 at the age of 19 at the most notorious branch Abdul Rehman Street. At this branch I worked for eighteen years out of my forty years of service and the experience at this branch lasted for the rest of my career. During my working days at A R Sreet we had a staff strength of over 100 and business was at it's best,cannot explain,you have to experience as everything was done manually. Overall teammates were wonderful except for a few moments of displeasure during my later part of service, opportunities were there but the fear of out station transfer, salary was reasonable, politics can't avoid, you will find at every workplace,learning was there as banking is a vast subject, worked at eight different branches in Mumbai.
