Very toxic environment, even after lots of escalation from team and managers no actions were taken against program manager. Bad project planning. Unprofessional behaviour. Favouritism within team. Unfair practices for appraisal.

I really like the flexibility in working hours.it allows me to to manage my work life balance effectively while staying productive 😁

Dislikes

One area where I feel there's room for improvement is the salary increment and vpi .they are often delayed and there have been times when I haven't received them as expected.

Nothing was good here. Senior management is greedy for everything that comes. They want everything from appraisal to onsite visits for themselves. Birlasoft has a concept of dry promotions. They would be very miserable in giving appraisal. Most of company has testers and support engineers and very minimal of software development happens here

During my tenure at Birlasoft, as my project was good so, I had very good work life balance. I feel it mostly it depends on your manager. After certain level you have the variable income as well. Your manager can put you for VISA nominations after your certain tenure completion.

Increments. Promotions can be taken up after certain tenure only. No performance based bonus apart from the CTC..

There are not many benefits but freshers and 1-2 years experience persons will get good experience and knowledge.

I worked as a third party to ultratech cement production support project. Work load is at peaks most of the time and IT network infrastructure practice is poor at my location unit. Most of the Users don't have minimum basic knowledge on how to use the computers and what they are doing with it. All the old employees are mostly got the jobs through recommendation. Pressure is very high we can learn how to handle it in a 24*7 support shift environment.No funds, no equipment and no work should be stopped with are without the equipment problems must be resolved....Read More

Good Atmosphere, and good policies for employees.

Dislikes

workforce management, when retention in the project is high, they won't retain people, instead will offer higher salary to someone new, so lot of hours get wasted of the employees in training etc, and workload gets high. This happens in a loop. Though it defers project to project i believe.

No job security, once the project is over they don't have much client to move you in some other projects, were you are forced to resign. Salery dedection is very high , HR doesn't gives any clarity of the dedection which is worst policy.

Compensation issues, increment never on time , no standards here. Even though they are earning well from project or bagging more project based on current. The team never gets compensated well. Earlier cycle was from April then july now we would get increments in Nov salary so its really demotivating.
