The only thing I liked in Barclays was working with my team members and my manager who always supported me, helped me whenever I needed them.

Dislikes

I think Barclays should improve on how to help people who are unable to get promoted. By introducing new profiles, let the employees decide how they wanna work and how they would like to support the team and the management. Putting pressure on the frontline team is not always the solution. Leave management should be flexible. New Profiles introduced should be flexible, the employee must be happy with the way they are treated<mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;">. As a result, I get to travel abroad, especially to the US and Canada. But on-site travel is completely dependent on your project and client’s location. Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high. Sometimes, I have to work 14-18 hours straight in a day as I have to attend client calls in the evening and sometimes late into the night. Managers do not value an individuals’ unique strengths, which is why I have to take back my suggestions most of the times. I do receive appreciation emails from my client, but they mostly go unnoticed during my mid-year appraisals. It is an employee friendly company and really take care of their employees but you can't raise your voice against odd or any wrong thing which makes this place worst to work!

Worst part is Barclays HR they are least boarder about onboarding and off boardng, employee needs to beg for own full and final settlement money. No control on outsource HR process.if you want to make it straight then senior management will not support so it is typical Govt. After several chasers with Manager, he was not willing to give me Day shift or other process ( since i was doing US shifts for 14 yrs ( out of 11 yrs night shift under same manager ) hence i opted to quit voluntary.
