I could learn something about banking and types of accounts or loans etc. GI, I learnt about it for the first time and India didn't have the concept that popular till then.

Things might have changed by now but I was suffocated as I rang the bell against someone high in the system for a wrongdoing. Their policies of workplace harassment and whistleblower are there just for records.

Dislikes

In Barclays Noida mostly at B5 (Manager) and above level, they do not perform any task except to allocate the work. Due to this whole burden of the works get shifted to B4 (Assistant Mgr) and below level employees which on various occasions leads to lot of pressure work.

Work Details

I am involved in Reporting Team ( FINREP AND RACE reporting). The work is totally different from what we have studied. It requires excel and mail writing skills. We need to populate the webforms and also to do XBRL REPORTING for tax compliance to HMRC.
