Not much learning after a while you are doing all the same kind of work Not good tech stack and company don't value good employee and technical expertise. They more focus on showoffs As a tech person u can get more pay outside and they don't care about good talent

Great work life balance actually so good that you may don't even have any job to do but to only hangout with friends/colleagues.

Learning growth is very poor, will suggest entry level job seekers to stay away from this org, that's what is happening to me right now actually..:( Favoritism is a major setback as only those who are somehow made a good impression would only enjoy their life. Company did hired like a mass recruiter few years back because of whichthey are laying off employees and making them resign by putting them in PIP, you won't even understand for which reason you were put into PIP as no proper work was ever given in the whole year! You might get hired as a Java Full Stack developer but you might end up checking logs and writing Juints for older code base! And the worst off all they would expect you to be on par with those working as a proper developer with a real job to do! Tc01 have pretty pathetic management wherein they treat the company like a school , fewpeople in the corporate refresh team have made it worse to survive also they think they are the company owners and treat others as majdur .Also majority of the management sits chennai who believes whatever the higher management in noida says - no transparency, salary hike or good culture

Shit level of office politics, crazy favouritism, no growth opportunities, no hike and worst of all is management use pip as a tool to pressure employees to work extra and many time even without overtime pay.

Tough to get promotions need to wait until there is vacancy and depending on experience and talent still there will be so many people in pipeline so it depends on your manager and director when you can get promoted The bonus is quite disappointing here and depending on your rating the hike will depend but on an average u will get 8/9%

No strategy to promote employees Only have to apply through internal portal where chances of selection takes years Also everywhere buttering wins Everything is operational means for leaves you have to beg No skill development Management is setting target which is vague Too high targets too achieve and then it leads to no increment A lot of improvement is needed in management

The company culture is worst and not at all reliable. You get no support from your managers at any point of time even you have not done any mistake. Worst and toxic culture for a women to work. No importance to your work and they give importance only to your silly mistakes done once or twice for the year.

Redudancies are impacting resources in last 2 years. They are backfilling resources at highers rates from vendors by removing employees. Also capable and deserving males are not getting promotions as most of the positions are reserved for diversity.

Barclays at over all corporate level have good policies

Dislikes

In Barclays, there is no or weak HR, line manager are made without their skills and caliber, Line manager post is more on favouritism rather than those who deserve it. Line manager make their own rules and decisions and no work ethics i have seen.
