Yes. Ofcourse. Being in a govt. sector give you job security. The perks are good. You get housing lon on concessional rate.

Dislikes

Since its a huge organization. So ofcourse the work culture depends on where you are posted. But being an IT Office, you do not get anything related to IT. You can anytime be posted as a GBO because there is not much IT related work.

Work life balance is good if you are a clerk. But being an Officer is an offence here. You are judged by how much late you stay in office.

- Very bad HR policies for Marketing Officers. - Too much harrassment to Marketing Officers by seniors. -People from other streams are jealous of Marketing Officers. - No progressive carrier path for Marketing Officers. - Pure door to door sales job. - There is no systematic approach till today to count your business. If you are outof office in market and the client, whom you had approached earlier to promote your product, comes direct to branch and get his documents completed by other officer in your absence then your effort in the conversion of that business would not be counted....Read More
