Lots of favouritism, regional biasing, managers are not aware of the work that is being done by the employees. Calling oneself as a people manager shouldn't mean blatant politics and nothing else. Awareness on what's going on in the team is basic quality in a manager which the managers in all products lack majorly. For freshers, firstly they have a bond of 2 years which they consider as a noose around a committed right out of college ambitious employee to suck the life out of them and then when it comes to getting a much deserved promotion at the end of 2 years, they enforce another rubbish concept of finishing a project along with the work you're doing based on which you'll be promoted else it'll be deferred by another 6 months unless you complete the useless and baseless project. Talking about perks, they have nothing "Nada". Honest advice to freshers, don't waste your potential by joining this waste organisation. Everything, whatever you can think is worst here and Higher management including is director is very very poor in knowledge. Aptean is hiring people based on nothing. In the interview you can interrogate the interviewers back and they will not able to answer the ques, 100% guarantied.

On a high level, Aptean is a good company for stability if you are placed in the right team

Dislikes

Bangalore branch people are just pathetic. They do dirty politics in here and make the environment so toxic internally. Managers and some leads behaving like CEO's of the company will use you, make you work on weekends, make you do all the work and present it in front of the upper management as they have done evrything & will take all your credit to get promotions. People like Lavanaya Manuhanumaiahh, Soumya Mukesh and Archana Ramachandra will make your life a hell. Lavanya doesnt know anything but is a Lead engineer because of her manager friends. She will come office after 11 and leave after lunch because she is very punctual. Every monday and friday will be her work from home(iykyk). She will force you to do the work assigned to her, will give you extra work as well and then present your work in front of managers and UK people like she has conquered something on her own. She stammers when it comes to handling discussions, arguments in front of clients because she doesnt know anything. People like her should be removed from the company asap, very very very undeserving. Many talented people have left the team, company and many are planning to leave because of her and the negativity she/they bring into the team.
