Work life balance is good. Had a great team even though management was pretty bad.

Dislikes

Please beware of projects which use Aptean's own proprietary language. Once you get in, the only way of coming out is to resign from this company. This proprietary language is not used anywhere in industry and even within the company there is only one project which uses this. You will be forced to work on this language. The companyis also prone to a lot of instability. Once in every 2-3 years, there will be a sell off a particular BU to some other equity company and once that happens, large scale layoffs happen and then a hiring boom happens to compensate that....Read More

Work Details

It was good initially, bonded well with the team, but there were constant management changes, forced to work on old and useless technologies without much scope and then Aptean decided to sell off its BUs resulting in mass layoffs.

Dislikes

There is no job security. You will hear every month one organization change for sure which effects your carrier. Their policy is buy and sell companies with projects. They will leave employees in air.

I recently joined a new company, and within 10 days, I received a more attractive offer from another company. Can I resign without serving the notice period? Would declining any salary and relieving letter (Experience Letter) it easier for the company to agree to my departure?
