Being Amazonian I like the reputation given in market, work Life balance, skills they provide to train ourselves, the must is job security. What ever the situation Amazon has job security. Liberty.

Dislikes

The only thing I dislike is appraisal for the work contributed, promotions have some limitations which I didn't like as it has to be modified.

All managers think they are the owner of the business but they forget they have another manager who things they are owner. All decisions are taken with partiality at prime. Work life balance can never be told or spoken about in India. The rest of the world will follow it but won't let you have any balance of it.

As I am into operations it's good enough environment and a good team to work with also I am in collections , so we have a small cute team which is good.

Dislikes

I think they should give us more overtime or bonus or insentive opportunities as we have none right now... considering we are into collections.

Company culture always depends on manager. Micro management, abusive language, and pet pampering irritates . Promotion is a dream of 70% employees.

They will give you 6-8 times more than the work you signed up for , make it a bare minimum expectation and then grill through the process . In the end , you do become a seasoned professional that has high testing limits.

Everything , gaslighting into believing you aren’t good enough , glorifying working on weekends, birthdays and holidays , giving you massive programs(multiple ) to lead end to end which should be led by 4-6 resources to begin with and even if you are exceptionally performing (proving metrics ) they will reduce your annual performance review rating by finding something you didn’t do like lack of automation or process improvement on the side.
