I like almost everything about the job. Workplace environment and the people I worked with then the learning process everything.

Dislikes

Doing night shift (9pm-6am) for 4 months straight can be a little too much pressure on your body and mind. I mean at the very beginning you can feel really sick. So just take extra care of yourself if you are in the night shift.

Nowadays nothing is even likely in here. Disadvantages are more prominent than the advantages

Firstly, employees are being treated like commodities. If any employee die as well by this tremendous pressure which company continuously enforcing on the employees is just not bothered. Their only motto is to forcefully make the employees bound to work continuously in such a skill in which he/she is not compatible to or are not able to perform and meet the metrics. Secondly, no managers or higher leaders are bothered about the well being of an employee. They will just make an employee suffer till the time they are giving resignation. Do not expect any support from any of the leaders or management in here. Leaders will only tell you that they will support you with the work policies but if someone has any genuine personal or health problem then leadership will completely surrender. Thirdly, customer service associates are being treated as dog. They don't get any choices about their skill change or shift change. Workflow team decides for every one and if someone is facing any issue, if they ask for any preferable shift time or skill they are bound to hear a no and that also with immense attitude and rudeness. So if someone decides to join Amazon.in and that also in customer service then it's a hell no. If someone has no problem with multiple health concerns right away then one can join with all pleasure. Fourthly, every leaders will spill the same thing. They will sweetly tell you that Amazon is a diverse organization with growth opportunities but honestly no career growth and no opportunities. If someone thinks that Amazon is a dream company then let me tell you that internal ijp's comes maybe once or twice a year with no extra opportunities. And whenever any employee will become frustrated the managers and leaders will sing the same thing and will try to lure employees with all myths about career opportunities as that is the key to them to make employees work again like dogs. This company is no doubt the best company to work. I am lucky to be a part of Amazon. Although my work is work from home but the work culture is amazing. The company cares about their employees. This company has the beat HR team and the best leadership. Everything is good about this company.
