Job Summary:

The Lead Quality Analyst for Cards Testing will lead a team responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of card payment systems, software, and related services. The role involves designing and executing test plans, managing test processes, and ensuring that card products meet the highest standards of performance, security, and usability. This position requires in-depth knowledge of the payment card industry, the ability to manage a QA team, and expertise in test automation and manual testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Strategy & Planning: Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies for card payment systems, including functional, regression, security, performance, and usability testing.

Team Leadership: Lead a team of QA analysts, ensuring the development and execution of effective test plans, providing guidance on testing methodologies, and promoting best practices.

Test Execution & Reporting: Oversee the execution of test cases, track defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues. Report on test progress, results, and risks to stakeholders.

Automation & Tools: Develop and maintain automated test scripts, ensuring that automated testing is integrated into the CI/CD pipeline. Identify opportunities for test automation to improve efficiency and coverage.

Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams (development, product management, business analysis) to ensure alignment of testing efforts with product requirements and release timelines.

Test Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts. Ensure accurate documentation of test results, defect logs, and overall test coverage.

Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA process, adopting new tools, methodologies, and techniques to enhance test efficiency and product quality.

Training & Mentoring: Provide training and mentorship to junior QA team members, fostering a culture of quality and attention to detail across the testing team.

Key Skills:

Strong experience in quality assurance testing, particularly in card payment systems (credit, debit, prepaid).

Expertise in manual testing and test automation (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JMeter).

Knowledge of card processing systems, payment gateways, and related technologies (Visa, Mastercard, EMV).

Familiarity with industry compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, EMV, PSD2).

Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC).

Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

Excellent leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.

Strong communication skills, capable of interacting with stakeholders at all levels.

Ability to manage multiple testing projects concurrently and meet deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

5-8 years of experience in quality assurance testing, with a focus on payment systems or financial services.

2+ years of experience in a lead or senior QA role, managing testing teams.

Certifications in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB) or related fields are a plus.

Experience with test automation frameworks and tools is a Plus

Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is advantageous for test automation.
