Job Description

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SME/Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in understanding and documenting business requirements for various banking projects, ensuring successful project delivery and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

Project Analysis:
- Conduct thorough analysis of project scope, objectives, and feasibility.
- Gather and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders (e.g., product owners, end-users, management).
- Elicit, analyze, and document user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Create process flows, data flow diagrams, and other relevant documentation.
- Participate in workshops, meetings, and presentations to discuss project requirements and progress.
System Analysis:
- Analyze existing systems and identify areas for improvement.
- Evaluate and recommend suitable solutions based on business needs and technical feasibility.
- Work closely with development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Conduct system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide post-implementation support and training to end-users.
Domain Expertise:
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of banking operations, including:
  - Core Banking: Flexcube Upgrade, IRIS
  - Channels: Bank Dashboard, Corporate Internet Banking, SMS/Missed Call Banking
  - Customer Onboarding: C-KYC, V-KYC, Precision-Biometric Authentication
  - Payments: SWIFT, CCIL, Rubix
  - Treasury: Treasury Operations, Treasury Applications
  - Risk Management: AML, Credit Risk Management System, RBI Reporting, Audit Management
- Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Foster strong relationships with business and IT teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking domain.
Proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
Proficiency in using business analysis tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with specific technologies mentioned above (Flexcube, IRIS, SWIFT, etc.)
Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements.
Experience with data analysis and reporting.
