Job Description

Job Title: QA Manager / Test Manager - Flexcube SURROUND APPLICATION Department: Delivery About Flexcube Flexcube is a comprehensive and integrated suite of banking applications that helps financial institutions of all sizes to transform their businesses. It offers a wide range of capabilities across core banking, digital banking, treasury, risk management, and more. Job Summary The QA Manager / Test Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the quality assurance activities for Flexcube SURROUND APPLICATION and other related applications. This role will involve overseeing the entire testing lifecycle, including test planning, test execution, defect management, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with a proven track record of success in managing and delivering high-quality software products. Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning & Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans, including functional, non-functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Define and manage test environments, including hardware and software configurations.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure testability.
Test Execution & Management:
- Lead and manage the execution of test cases, including manual and automated testing.
- Monitor test progress, identify and resolve roadblocks, and ensure timely delivery of testing deliverables.
- Track and manage defects effectively, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
Test Automation:
- Implement and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts using appropriate tools.
- Drive the adoption of test automation across the testing lifecycle.
- Analyze test results and generate comprehensive test reports.
Quality Assurance Processes:
- Establish and maintain quality assurance processes and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and perform static analysis to identify potential issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and regulations.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers and testers.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business users, developers, and project managers.
- Provide regular updates on testing progress and status.
- Manage expectations and resolve conflicts effectively.
Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Stay abreast of the latest testing tools, technologies, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong experience in testing Flexcube applications (SURROUND APPLICATION ) is highly preferred.
Proven experience in leading and managing QA teams.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with banking domain knowledge and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge of performance testing and security testing.
Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Experience with DevOps practices and tools.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

On-time delivery of testing deliverables.
Defect detection and resolution rates.
Test coverage and effectiveness.
Customer satisfaction with software quality.
Team performance and productivity.
