Job Description

SME/BA - Loan Origination System (LOS) - Hotfoot Application Location: Chennai, India Experience: 10+ years About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Business Analyst (BA) with a deep understanding of Loan Origination Systems (LOS), specifically the Hotfoot application. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in analyzing, designing, implementing, and supporting LOS solutions within the financial services industry. You will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the efficient and effective utilization of the Hotfoot LOS. Responsibilities:

Requirements Elicitation and Analysis: Elicit, analyze, and document complex business requirements related to loan origination processes, translating them into functional specifications for the Hotfoot system.
System Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize the Hotfoot LOS to meet specific business needs, including workflows, rules, data mapping, and integrations with other systems.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Develop and execute UAT test plans, ensuring that the implemented solutions meet business requirements and are user-friendly. Support users during the UAT process.
Training and Documentation: Develop and deliver training materials and user documentation for the Hotfoot LOS.
Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors, ensuring alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions to optimize the use of the Hotfoot LOS.
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Hotfoot system, working closely with technical teams and vendors as needed.
Vendor Management: Liaise with the Hotfoot vendor for support, upgrades, and enhancements.
Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in LOS technology and the Hotfoot application.
Mentoring: Mentor junior team members and share your expertise in LOS and Hotfoot.

Required Skills and Experience:

10+ years of experience in Business Analysis and/or as an SME in the financial services industry, with a strong focus on Loan Origination Systems.
Extensive hands-on experience with the Hotfoot LOS application, including configuration, customization, and implementation.
Deep understanding of loan origination processes, including loan applications, credit scoring, underwriting, loan closing, and disbursement.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Experience in developing and delivering training materials and user documentation.
Familiarity with other related financial systems and integrations.
Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
