Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Data Visualization Specialist to join our team, focusing on the development of impactful dashboards that facilitate decision-making through clear and insightful data presentations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining visually compelling and interactive dashboards that transform complex data sets into actionable insights. As a Data Visualization Specialist, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver intuitive, data-driven solutions.

Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, business stakeholders, and management to gather requirements and ensure dashboard design aligns with business needs.
  • Create and implement data models, KPIs, and metrics to help monitor performance, track trends, and generate actionable insights.
  • Transform complex, large-scale data sets into easy-to-understand visuals, charts, and graphs for better decision-making.
  • Ensure dashboards are scalable, dynamic, and optimized for performance across different devices.
  • Implement data security and user access protocols to protect sensitive information and maintain compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to dashboard functionality and performance.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to help them effectively use dashboards and data visualization tools.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve existing dashboards, ensuring they meet evolving business needs and industry best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and innovations in data visualization and dashboard development.
    • Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or others.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis, data modeling, and data governance.
  • Experience in writing SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Hands-on experience with data wrangling and data cleaning techniques.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and integration.
  • Ability to design responsive and intuitive dashboards with a focus on user experience.
  • Solid understanding of key business metrics, KPIs, and business intelligence concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex data sets.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is a plus.
  • Understanding of data privacy and security best practices.
    • Qualification & Experience Required
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in data visualization, dashboard development, or business intelligence.
  • Previous experience in working with large data sets and building complex, interactive dashboards is highly preferred.
  • Certification in Tableau, Power BI, or other relevant data visualization tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
