Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled ETL Developer to join our dynamic team, specializing in banking data processing. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines and ETL processes tailored to meet the needs of our banking clients. This role requires a strong understanding of financial data, data warehousing concepts, and proficiency in ETL tools and techniques.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Design, implement, and optimize ETL processes to integrate data from multiple banking systems into centralized data warehouses.
Analyze and understand banking data requirements and ensure accurate data transformations.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes, data flows, and transformations.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in ETL processes to ensure smooth operations and timely data delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including database administrators, data analysts, and business stakeholders, to ensure data solutions align with business goals.
Conduct data quality checks to ensure the integrity and accuracy of processed banking data.
Enhance system performance by fine-tuning ETL jobs and optimizing queries.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data integration and banking analytics.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Strong expertise in ETL tools and technologies such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or Apache Nifi.

Proficiency in SQL and database management systems like Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.

Experience with big data processing platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, or AWS Glue is a plus.

Hands-on experience in scripting languages (Python, Shell, or Perl) for automation.

Understanding of banking data structures, including customer accounts, transactions, and financial reports.

Familiarity with data governance, data security, and regulatory compliance in the banking sector.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work in cross-functional teams.

Qualification & Experience Required

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master s degree is a plus.
2-8 years of experience in ETL development, with a focus on banking or financial data processing.
Certification in ETL tools or cloud platforms (e. g. , AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable.
Demonstrated expertise in handling large-scale datasets and working in data-driven environments.
