Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Predictive Modeling Analyst to join our Insurance Forecasting team. The role requires a strong understanding of data science, predictive modeling techniques, and statistical analysis. As a Predictive Modeling Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and implementing forecasting models to support the company s insurance business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making and improve business outcomes in areas such as claims prediction, risk assessment, pricing models, and customer retention strategies.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Develop, validate, and maintain predictive models to forecast insurance-related metrics, including claims, risk, and customer behavior.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights through advanced statistical modeling techniques.

Conduct exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to improve model accuracy.

Continuously monitor and enhance the performance of existing models.

Communicate findings and model recommendations to non-technical stakeholders through clear visualizations and reports.

Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to integrate models into production systems.

Ensure adherence to industry best practices for model development, testing, and deployment.

Stay updated with the latest developments in predictive analytics, machine learning algorithms, and the insurance industry.

Assist in the design of experiments and conduct A/B testing for insurance products and services.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages, such as R, Python, or SAS.

Experience with machine learning techniques, including regression analysis, decision trees, random forests, and time series forecasting.

Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

Familiarity with insurance industry metrics, such as loss ratios, claim frequencies, and policyholder behavior.

Ability to work with large datasets and leverage cloud-based tools for data processing (e. g. , AWS, Azure).

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically and work with ambiguous data.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Qualification & Experience Required

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

At least 2-5 years of professional experience in predictive modeling or data analysis, preferably within the insurance industry.

Experience in building and deploying forecasting models is a significant advantage.

Knowledge of actuarial science and insurance-specific predictive analytics will be considered a plus.

Certification in data science or machine learning (e. g. , AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty, or similar) is a plus.
