Job Description

Job Summary

The Tableau Reporting Analyst is responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights using Tableau. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain dashboards and visual reports that enhance data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings effectively.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Develop, design, and maintain Tableau dashboards and visualizations to represent complex datasets clearly.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical requirements.

Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decisions.

Optimize and enhance existing dashboards and reports for performance and user experience.

Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability through robust validation and testing processes.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tableau dashboards, data sources, and performance.

Provide training and support to end-users on Tableau functionalities and best practices.

Stay updated with Tableau and data visualization best practices to implement innovative solutions.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online.

Strong SQL skills to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from databases.

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and relational database management systems (RDBMS).

Experience in connecting Tableau to various data sources (e. g. , SQL Server, Excel, Cloud).

Solid understanding of data visualization principles and dashboard design best practices.

Analytical thinking with the ability to solve complex problems effectively.

Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualification & Experience Required

Educational Background :

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
A Master s degree is an advantage but not mandatory.

Experience :

2+ years of experience working with Tableau in a professional setting.
Demonstrated experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
Prior experience in business intelligence (BI) or analytics roles is a plus.
