Automation Engineer (PLC and IoT)

Design and implement PLC programs to control and monitor industrial machinery and processes.

Develop IoT-enabled solutions for remote monitoring, diagnostics, and predictive maintenance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and deliver custom automation solutions.

Integrate and configure industrial communication protocols (e. g. , Modbus, OPC UA, Ethernet/IP) to ensure seamless connectivity.

Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Create detailed documentation, including functional specifications, wiring diagrams, and operating manuals.

Maintain and upgrade existing automation systems to improve functionality and compatibility with new technologies.

Provide technical support and training to stakeholders to ensure the efficient operation of automated systems.

Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automation and IoT.

Proficiency in programming and configuring PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider Electric, etc. ).

Strong knowledge of IoT platforms, protocols, and frameworks.

Hands-on experience with SCADA and HMI systems development and deployment.

Familiarity with industrial sensors, actuators, and control systems.

Experience with data acquisition, analysis, and visualization tools.

Solid understanding of electrical schematics, control panels, and wiring standards.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on innovation.

Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Bachelor s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.

2-8 years of experience in automation engineering, PLC programming, and IoT systems.

Industry certifications in PLC programming, IoT, or industrial automation (preferred).

Proven track record of implementing automation projects in manufacturing, energy, or related industries.

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management tools is a plus.
