Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Solutions Architect with expertise in Microsoft Azure and VMware technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions that align with our clients business needs. Your ability to bridge the gap between technical requirements and business objectives will be key to driving success in cloud adoption and optimization.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Solution Design and Architecture:

Develop and implement cloud solutions using Azure and VMware technologies, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Infrastructure Deployment and Management:

Plan, design, and deploy virtualized environments using VMware and Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Networking.
Configure and manage storage, compute, and network resources in hybrid or multi-cloud environments.

Cloud Migration and Optimization:

Lead migration efforts for applications, data, and infrastructure to Azure or VMware-based platforms.
Continuously monitor and optimize cloud resources to enhance performance and reduce costs.

Collaboration and Support:

Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines with cloud platforms.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Security and Compliance:

Implement and maintain robust security controls and compliance standards in cloud deployments.
Perform regular assessments to ensure adherence to industry best practices.

Documentation and Reporting:

Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge-sharing resources.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Strong expertise in designing and implementing solutions with Microsoft Azure and VMware technologies.

Proficient in Azure services, including Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Active Directory, Azure Security Center, and Azure DevOps.

In-depth understanding of VMware products like vSphere, vCenter, NSX, and vSAN.

Hands-on experience with virtualization, hybrid cloud architectures, and networking concepts (VNETs, NSGs, Load Balancers, etc. ).

Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Python, or Terraform.

Familiarity with containerization tools like Kubernetes and Docker.

Knowledge of disaster recovery, backup strategies, and business continuity planning in cloud environments.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

Qualification & Experience Required

Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. A master s degree is a plus.
Professional Certifications (Preferred):
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
Experience:
- 3-8 years of hands-on experience in cloud solution architecture, deployment, and management.
- Proven track record of successful cloud migration and implementation projects.
