Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure and ensuring its scalability, reliability, and performance. You will work on designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
- Monitor and optimize cloud environments for performance, cost-efficiency, and security compliance.
- Utilize AWS CloudWatch, AWS Config, and other monitoring tools to ensure system health and uptime.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment pipelines and implement CI/CD practices.
- Manage version control using tools like Git and AWS CodeCommit.
- Implement and maintain security best practices, including IAM policies, VPC configurations, and data encryption.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO 27001.
- Provide technical support for AWS cloud infrastructure issues and incidents.
- Conduct root cause analysis and apply preventive measures to minimize downtime.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including software developers, database administrators, and business analysts, to align cloud strategies.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all cloud-related processes and configurations.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent, are highly preferred.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Experience working in Agile or DevOps-driven environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
