Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Embedded Systems Developer specializing in device drivers to join our dynamic team. The role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing device drivers for various embedded systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in embedded software development and a keen interest in working on cutting-edge technologies.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test device drivers for embedded systems, ensuring compatibility with hardware and operating systems.
Debug and resolve issues in existing device drivers and embedded software.
Optimize system performance by fine-tuning device drivers to meet application requirements.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with hardware components.
Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain coding standards.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
Evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance development efficiency.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in embedded systems.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Assembly for embedded systems.
Strong understanding of microcontroller and microprocessor architectures.
Hands-on experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) like FreeRTOS, VxWorks, or QNX.
Proficient in debugging tools like JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
Experience in developing device drivers for peripherals like UART, I2C, SPI, GPIO, and USB.
Familiarity with hardware communication protocols (e. g. , CAN, Ethernet, PCIe).
In-depth knowledge of memory management, interrupt handling, and power optimization in embedded systems.
Ability to write and understand low-level hardware interaction code.

Qualification & Experience Required

Educational Background:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

2-5 years of hands-on experience in embedded software development and device driver programming.
Experience in working with system-level debugging tools and simulators.
