Position Name : Non - EB Sales Specialist
Location : Kolkata
Experience Range : 5 - 15 years
Mandatory Requirement:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance broking industry with extensive exposure in the Non-EB sector.
- Must have a thorough knowledge about general insurance and its product line.
- In-depth knowledge of the Kolkata market, with strong connections in local industries and businesses.
- Identify, develop, and acquire new clients in the Kolkata market for Non-EB insurance products.
- Build a robust pipeline of prospects, including SMEs, corporates, and industries requiring general insurance solutions.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients by providing tailored insurance solutions and exceptional service.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their insurance requirements are comprehensively addressed.
- Stay updated with the latest market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the insurance industry in the Kolkata region.
- Leverage local market knowledge to customize insurance solutions for clients.
- Work closely with underwriters, insurance providers, and internal teams to ensure competitive quotes and smooth policy issuance.
- Coordinate with claims teams to assist clients in claim settlement processes.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline updates.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and company compliance guidelines at all times.
Qualification and Experience:
- 5-15 years of experience in sales within the insurance broking industry, specifically in Non-EB insurance products (e.g., property, marine, liability, etc.).
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Insurance, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
Other Details:
- Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools to manage client data and sales pipelines.
- IRDAI certification or relevant insurance sales certifications will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
