Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Plan, strategize, and execute business development initiatives to achieve sales targets, with a strong focus on increasing advertising revenue.
- Develop and implement long-term sales strategies for publisher onboarding, ensuring sustainable growth and market expansion.
Publisher Acquisition & Onboarding:
- Identify and engage with prospective publishers, driving the onboarding process to expand the company's publishing network.
- Conduct outreach through various methods, including cold calls, networking, and online research, to identify high-potential publishers.
Sales Pipeline Management:
- Manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting of new business closures and revenue generation.
- Track sales progress, prioritize high-value opportunities, and meet or exceed sales quotas within established timelines.
Relationship Building & Account Management:
- Build strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders at publishers, acting as the main point of contact.
- Proactively explore new opportunities to expand revenue within existing relationships, ensuring continuous growth.
Sales Presentations & Negotiations:
- Conduct compelling presentations and product demos to showcase the company's offerings to potential publisher partners.
- Lead negotiations and close contract deals that align with business goals and ensure profitable relationships with publishers.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, and customer support, to ensure seamless onboarding and successful campaign execution.
- Collaborate with operations and account management teams to resolve any client issues and maintain satisfaction.
Process Improvement & Strategic Development:
- Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes, identifying opportunities to streamline efforts and increase efficiency.
- Develop long-term strategies for publisher engagement and revenue generation that align with the company's goals and market demands.
Sales Reporting & Analysis:
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and revenue forecasts using CRM systems.
- Analyze sales performance, report on key metrics, and identify areas for growth and improvement.
Requirements:
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in advertising sales, publisher management, or a similar sales role, with a proven track record of managing long and complex sales cycles.
- Demonstrated experience in onboarding new clients and managing long-term relationships with multiple stakeholders.
Skills:
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to assess market trends, sales performance, and client needs.
- High proficiency in sales forecasting, CRM tools, and pipeline management.
