Head of Last Mile (3PL Startup)

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the last-mile delivery operations for Last Mile, ensuring smooth execution from fulfilment to delivery.

- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including logistics providers, local couriers, and partners for commercial discussions and improvement of services.

- Develop and implement strategies to optimize last-mile logistics, balancing speed, cost-efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

- Oversee the management of third-party delivery partners, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and maintaining high-quality standards.

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement data-driven improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.

- Collaborate with supply chain, technology, and customer service teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhance the customer experience.

- Design and implement scalable solutions to meet growing demand while maintaining operational excellence.

- Innovate and explore emerging trends and technologies in last-mile delivery (e.g., route optimization, autonomous vehicles, drones).

- Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning for last-mile operations.

- Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards related to transportation and delivery.
