Job Description:

- Same-Day Delivery helps brands with converting their browsers into buyers, serving as a competitive advantage and reducing working capital challenges. We currently engages with enterprise brands with category focus into Fashion, Beauty & Personal Care and Healthcare helping them with 30% - 40% increase in their website conversions & increasing retention by 2x by providing best in class experience. We have its operations in 50 + Cities in India.
Position Overview: (Head of Operation - Last Mile Delivery)
Location - Bengaluru
- We, are leading e-commerce company, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Operations to oversee and optimize our operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in last-mile delivery, quick commerce, and dark store operations. They should bring a fresh perspective to the quick commerce domain, a strategic focus on profitability, and expertise in leveraging data science to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
- Oversee end-to-end operations, including last-mile delivery, inventory management, and dark store operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency and achieve business objectives.
Quick Commerce Expertise:
- Drive innovation and process improvements in quick commerce delivery models.
- Analyze and refine operational frameworks to meet rapid fulfillment demands.
Profitability Management:
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to enhance operational profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational goals with financial targets.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize data science tools and methodologies to analyze datasets and improve decision making.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
Team Building and Development:
- Lead and mentor operations teams to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with technology, sales, and marketing teams to align operational processes with business goals.
- Engage with external stakeholders to enhance supply chain and delivery partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in operations, with a strong focus on last-mile delivery, quick commerce, and dark store management.
- Domain Knowledge: Proven expertise in quick commerce, including fresh perspectives and innovative strategies.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in data science, data analytics, and using datasets for operational insights.
- Leadership: Demonstrated success in managing large teams and driving operational excellence.
- Profitability Focus: Experience in optimizing costs and improving operational margins.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
