Job Description

Reports To: Sales Manager

We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team and help us expand our impact in the education sector.

Role Overview:
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and converting leads into long-term customers. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by engaging with potential customers, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions from our portfolio of educational products and services. You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to build relationships, educate prospects, and close deals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation Prospecting:
  • Identify and qualify potential leads through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach.
  • Engage with leads generated through marketing efforts and convert them into sales opportunities.
  • Research and identify new prospects within the EdTech industry, schools, universities, and other educational institutions.

  • Sales Presentations Demos:
  • Conduct virtual product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the features and benefits of our solutions.
  • Tailor product presentations to address specific needs, concerns, and pain points of each prospect.

  • Sales Closing:
  • Develop a deep understanding of prospect requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Manage the sales process from initial contact to contract signing, including negotiating pricing and terms.
  • Work to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • CRM Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Track sales activities, opportunities, and progress in real-time.
  • Provide regular updates to the Sales Manager regarding sales pipeline, challenges, and key insights.

  • Collaboration Support:
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align on lead generation strategies and content for outreach.
  • Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, product updates, and competitor offerings to effectively position our solutions.

Qualifications:
  • Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, preferably in the EdTech or SaaS industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales automation platforms is a plus.

  • Skills Competencies:
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with decision-makers.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with potential clients and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to think on your feet.

  • Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field (preferred).
