Job Description

Executive Culture, Employee Experiences and Career Lead - Associate Director
As part of shaping our future with confidence, the transformation in the Executive region is excited to bring this new role of a Culture, Employee Experience & Careers Lead. The role will serve as a bridge between the Global EY Careers as well as the Global Organizational Effectiveness teams, Talent Development CoEs and the Strategic Talent Consultants, Talent Leaders, Business Leadership and other key stakeholders across the Executive functions, ensuring a seamless connection between the design team and internal stakeholders of the Executive.
Integrating a culture and employee experience leader into the Executive is crucial for fostering an EY Values led work environment, enhancing employee engagement, and driving overall organizational success. This role will design initiatives that promote a sense of belonging, purpose, and fulfilment among employees. This in turn increases engagement in employees.
The selected candidate will
  • Rebuild the fabric of culture and employee experiences keeping the background of recent transformation across the organization.
  • Align our culture and brand ambition to the global EVP and embed behaviours that translate to everyday people experiences.
  • Be able to cascade elements of the Employee Value Proposition with high levels of clarity, brevity defining actions that showcase themes like teaming, collaboration, inclusiveness, in our ways of working.
  • Strengthen trusted relationships with all business leaders and leadership teams across the Executive with strategic interventions and heightened inclusiveness.
  • Act as a key culture catalyst in bringing together communities of similar businesses and building a sense of belonging across all locations.
  • Create a culture of high-performance teaming with collaboration within and across teams with better experiences for people.
  • Create uncompromising practices that are embedded in business goals to make culture and exceptional experiences part of the leadership and organizational behaviors.
  • Empower leaders and hold them accountable to be culture champions and change agents with people engagement and experiences at the core of their approaches.
  • Ensure participation in culture engagement and people experiences transformation methodologies like Culture Sprints, Counselor Accreditation, awareness of Career Tools & Resources, equitable opportunities in new roles, existing roles, mobility etc.,
Your key responsibilities
  • Build alignment across all Executive business functions to a unified approach to culture activation and people engagement.
  • Analyze and gain a 360-degree understanding of current culture and the specific areas that needs to be addressed in terms of culture, people experiences and career focus.
  • Elevate people experiences throughout the lifecycle of an employee by collaborating with CoEs and regional leadership.
  • Strategize and embed culture sensitivities in Hiring, Onboarding, Development, Talent Review, Succession Planning, DEI, Performance Management, Goal Setting, EY People Pulse actions, Careers, Opportunity management, Counselor relationships, Counselor Connect Leader roles, Engagement at every stage of employee life cycle including attrition and exits.
  • Strengthen partnership with alliances and various ecosystem through high standards in people approaches and culture.
  • Influence leaders to sponsor and be examples of following global processes to be aligned to the firm s approach to enhancing culture, engagement and people experiences.
  • Influence and cater to industry standards and human at the center approach to culture, engagement and people experiences, including decisions on Counselor Counselee ratio, recognition, rewards, geographical diversity and approaches regionally that are aligned to provide equitable experiences.
  • Create pipeline plans at manager and above ranks for diverse candidates and hold leaders accountable to a culture that nurtures equitable opportunities, in growth and leadership pipeline plans.
  • Collaborate with Area and Region teams to ensure a consistent and effective roll-out of the EY Careers mapping.
  • Lead efforts to build awareness and educate teams on the Career Framework while enabling access to global resources.
  • Strategize, implement, track, measure and report culture, engagement, careers and people experience related outcomes on target.
  • Work directly with Function leaders to embed deeper, meaningful culture, engagement and people experiences in their core leadership style and across people.
  • Partnership and integration with GDS, to build consistent exceptional experiences. Heighten cultural identity and sense of belonging to build exceptional experiences amongst all regional business functions and dynamics.
Skills and attributes for success
  • Expert in Culture Strategies, approaches, High Performance Teaming
  • Deep knowledge and experience in Organizational Development , with at least 15 years of work in this specific area
  • High level of Collaboration and Partnering skills and behavioral excellence in working with various stakeholders and CoEs of DEI, Talent Development, Talent Consulting, Performance Management, Rewards, Hiring, Business Functional leadership, locational leadership, regional leadership, global leadership and all people across all spans of influence.
  • Deep understanding all Talent processes across the value chain of Talent at EY.
  • Coaching mindset and Coaching Skills to address requirements of people at various levels.
  • Strong Negotiation and Influencing skills coupled with the ability to Challenge Status Quo to prioritize and build a culture that helps people thrive in a disruptive and transformative environment.
  • Ability to Network, Collaborate and Team with agility across borders to build exceptional people experiences.
  • Executive Presence and Gravitas to effortlessly Build Credibility and confidence to share, challenge and reiterate important decisions.
  • Strong articulation, communication and presentation skills to outline objective steps and measures to make strategy.
  • Build Credibility at PPEDD levels to lead change through increased awareness of culture, engagement and people experiences requirements and instil ownership at these levels.
  • Identify needs, design, develop, implement and measure culture, engagement and people experiences transformational interventions.
  • Customize messaging keeping audience in mind for higher traction of culture, engagement and people experiences across all levels of counselors, leaders, stakeholder and all people.
To qualify for the role, you must have
  • Bachelors degree and certifications related to the field.
  • More than 15 years in the field of Organizational Development.
  • Good experience in internal client management of various businesses.
  • Experience of working in complex business environments with stakeholders spread across various geographies, globally.
  • Demonstrable experience in structuring and executing complex needs from varied businesses with varied goals and impact, globally.
  • Experience in managing global and multicultural teams.
  • Certifications and experience in individual coaching, team coaching for senior leadership teams.
  • A self-starter, independent-thinker, curious and creative person with ambition and passion!
