The assignment was more of a scam. In the initial discussion with the HR and top mgmt apart from answering all their interview questions, they wanted me to shift to Ahmedabad along with my entire fly including my senior citizen parents for them. I told them only I would be shifting and not my family cos the job role involves me and not my family. This was their way of locking a person for working for them for a longer period of time. It was also during this interview they informed me that they work Monday to Saturday and many a times I would also have to travel to teh client for briefs. Why wasn't this informed earlier? A couple of days later, they reached out to me for an assignment which looked more like a scam specially when Iam experienced in this industry. The question involved strategic questions like- what do we do to launch our brand? What different can we do? Competitor analysis and so on. Basically, even if you do not get selected they have all the crucial information with them through an experienced candidate liek you. Lastly, once I emailed the assignment to them with a campaign, strategic approach, launch plan etc..they disappeared from the scene. No feedback, call.or msg..directly ghosted an experienced candidate like me. Totally unprofessional behaviour by their HR Shivdeep as well. Stay away from Vadilal Ahmedabad and save your precious time and also avoid getting scammed by their test assignements.
