Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - This is purely for freshers. Just basic functional testing knowledge (Refer ISTQB) is enough to clear the interview. And before attending the interview, decide if you want to pursue your career in BFSI domain. It has huge scope at the same time things aren't easy to learn. Be ready to go through rigorous training. Once you are in there is no going back. This is not like usual other domain testing like ecommerce and all. You have to think a lot, have willingness to learn. The software is developed using COBOL (mainframe) language. If you are in a plan to shift to other domains in future, it's quite hard. Do your own research about all the pros and cons. Think well and decide. Don't fall for the salary package. If you are really interested in banking, finance and stuffs do join. You have to enjoy your work and do. Without interest you can't survive. I will end with this, initially when I joined, I felt I was trapped but as years passed by along with gaining knowledge, now I am actually enjoying my work. (Just shared whatever I felt, hope it helps. I maybe wrong as well)
