The interview process consists of 3 rounds: An initial HR screening (who is as clueless as the CEO), A discussion with the director (who needs to understand the management's vision), followed by a case study (who they'll use for their purpose) and A final round with the CEO (who's attitude is going nowhere) via video conference. The case study requires significant effort, yet shortlisted candidates receive no stipend for their time and work. Despite the efforts put into the case study, the CEO barely acknowledges it, making it seem like a pointless exercise rather than a meaningful evaluation. The CEO also lacks clarity for this role, his expectations align more with a director-level position, despite being a Sr. Manager role. The salary is fixed between $100 - $120K (non-negotiable) which is relatively lower compared to the market without any additional perks which leaves no room for compensation negotiation. Overall, Techblocks appears more interested in extracting ideas from candidates than actually hiring someone. Their inability to fill this role for over six months is a clear indicator of internal misalignment and mismanagement. If you're a serious candidate, I'd recommend avoiding this company and saving your time and effort.
