Interview Preparation Tips

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Two rounds ofinterviews. First round 11 out of 40-50. Second round 8 offerred jobs. Here are a few things they asked:   a) Why is your CPI so low?   b) How did you manage a good JEE rank if you have such issues with academic system?   c) What are your plans for future?   d) What is the reason for considering CRL?   e) How much maximum memory can be allocated in C++ at one go?   f) Can JAVA garb. Collector be called from inside th program?   g) What do you know about functional programs?   h) Tell us about the research you have done?   i) About BTP.
Tips: a) A CS/IT student should be well versed in PL theory and C++ JAVA internals.

General Tips: Instead of following the &  better to dress in stuff you are comfortable. Even a formal shirt over jeans Is not bad, way of speaking will matter a LOT more. Speak slowly and listen attentively to what the other guy has to say. Know inside that you are both smart guys and try to get into a conversation instead of letting the interview go on like Q&A. Don't make too many references to personal details. You also have the right to feel offended at any point and be vocal about it. My interviewer actually apologized to me, 3 times for different things, right in the first round.
