The India chapter is not transparent and run by a bunch of hardcore bullies who justify bullying and very much protect it. If you have observation and feedback for your supervisor, be assured that it will backfire. Their Safeguarding and employee protection policies are a sham. We were given Catholic Social Teachings during the orientation & call themselves a secular organisation. It operates under the false garb of secularism and operate at the standards of a religious organisation. Please do not work here if you want to keep your sanity. The organisation’s leadership is hugely influential to destroy one’s confidence and play mind games that has dangerous consequences in one’s professional growth. They encourage a culture of pleasing bosses; and the ones who do it, they will thrive!! It’s a highly unprofessional organisation that gives the creeps of running a fish market in the name of “empowering poor people” while they treat employees very poorly. Supervisors disrespect anyone with a different opinion & has the same good intentions for the organisation. DO NOT WORK HERE.

Good working environment, team work, wily like environment where someone feels valued, have grown in terms of career though sometimes work load vs salary does not not match for some positions, there is good opportunity to learn and especially online courses but too much work and barely no time to take the courses, balancing my work and social life as been a struggle for the last one year, my nw roe is too demanding

CRS is a global organization operating in 100 countries.As head of agriculture, I oversee agriculture programming planning, implementation and new business development in the department. CRS is a innovative and technology driven organization. Working in the organization exposes me to cutting edge technology, diverse people and cultures, and above all to new knowledge in the domain of agriculture and management.

Dislikes

CRS is a great organization by any standard. But promotions to higher levels and new roles does not come easily. This is perhaps because of the size of the organization and the fact that people are employed for fixed term positions most of the time.

CRS is transparent, clear policies and staff capacity building organization. staff development is highly encouraged. i have enjoyed work with CRS during emergencies and developmental work in WASH and Education project. i have join CRS like a student and out like a professional education project implementer.i have found nice and honest management in CRS.

Dislikes

there is nothing which i can dislike in CRS. only i have some concern on pakistani management in decisions. i like foreign team in CRS Pakistan.
