What Salary Can I Expect in an MNC?

I am currently working as a Software Engineer at a mid-sized company, where I develop small to mid-sized applications that primarily use basic coding and stored procedures, with no heavy DSA requirements. I'm looking to switch to an MNC and would appreciate any guidance, as I don’t have a mentor to consult. I have 3 years of experience and have hands-on experience with .NET, SQL, React (TypeScript), SharePoint Online (SPFx), Microsoft Graph API and basic Azure services like App Service, Storage, and OpenAI. My current CTC is 5.6 LPA. Some HR reps are suggesting a 20% increase on my fixed (5.3LPA) is standard, but this feels low. Could anyone advise on a realistic salary expectation for an MNC role?

12.5 LPA or 14 LPA? Which one to choose?

Guys, sabne ye no tax upto 12.75 LPA wali news to sun hi logi. But this announcement has created a huge confusion for me. So I have recently received an offer from a company in a dream role kind of setup. They have offered me a package of 12.5 LPA. But this is their initial offer, and based on our conversations, I am pretty sure if I negotiate they can go upto 14 LPA. But if they do so, then I will come in the income tax bracket and my in-hand monthly salary might go even lower than 12.5 LPA. So what should I do now? Accept the lower package to save taxes or negotiate for an overall higher package? Please help🙏

Salary for Transport Planner Role

I'm a master's graduate from a reputed university (top 30 in the world) in Europe and have been working abroad for the past 3 years. I had to recently move back to India due to a visa related issue. My current salary is around 39lakhs (foreign after taxes) in indian currency. I have noticed normally people ask for 2.5 times of the foreign salary in India. Which would be around 16 lakhs. I have also observed that graduates from reputed institutes in India do make around 17-18 lakhs on average in this industry. All the companies I have worked for previously are highly reputed and famous companies and projects are also quite good. I have recently received an offer from a reputed MNC in India and they are offering 12 lakhs CTC which I believe is quite less considering my masters abroad and international experience. How can I negotiate better for this role and is it reasonable?

Company Acquired - Compensation confusion

Recently my company got acquired by a larger MNC. Although the complete process will be done by last quarter of 2025, the company is planning to give around 4 lakhs as retention bonus if I don't leave the job and if I join the new company. And I have one hike/appraisal cycle coming up in May, where I am not sure how much hike I will be getting, before the merger is done. Should I plan to switch my company now as I am not sure about job security once the company is acquired next year? Or should I wait and get the bonus, and hike (if it's given) and risk job security in the new company?

I have 3.2 years of experience in big data and I have 2 offers 11.4 LPA and 12 LPA both have some fixed and some variable components to it. And 2-3 offers and interviews are still in the pipeline. Dear all, Need your help in accepting an offer My previous package was 3.5 lpa in customer service. I have recently completed my MBA in HR. So the IT recruiter offer i got, iam afraid that it is not a fraud... Initially on the call she told 2lpa salary so i attended the interview but during f2f interview she said first 3 months only 10k will be given as we have to provide you training after 3 months you will be provided 2lpa. I have an overall diverse experience of 2 years but they're considering me as a fresher in HR even i too accept that but what about the salary structure please help me in deciding because i feel like I am loosing money on the table. After 3 months if they remove me then 10k will however not be sufficient for me and also my time will be wasted please urgently need a discussion in the comments as they're considering the immediate joining

I negotiated an offer with CocaCola for a 80% bump in CTC and I haven't quit my current org (Deloitte) yet However I received an unexpected but deserved promotion today which has bumped up my package a little closer to current offerings with Additional perks not available in CocaCola I am a people person so I do have great relationships with the directors and partners who I report to and I am definitely on the growth track What would you chaps recommend?
