Company Acquired - Compensation confusion

Recently my company got acquired by a larger MNC. Although the complete process will be done by last quarter of 2025, the company is planning to give around 4 lakhs as retention bonus if I don't leave the job and if I join the new company. And I have one hike/appraisal cycle coming up in May, where I am not sure how much hike I will be getting, before the merger is done. Should I plan to switch my company now as I am not sure about job security once the company is acquired next year? Or should I wait and get the bonus, and hike (if it's given) and risk job security in the new company?
