Salary Negotiation

Hey all I have 11.5 LPA CTC with all fixed in my current company and 15 LPA CTC with 13 LPA base and rest 5% annual bonus and rest in PF and gratuity. The second offer is in Noida which is closer to my hometown and current company is in Hyderabad. Kindly share tips to negotiate and what should I do? (Also my appraisal is due next month)

According to me, the best strategy would be to mention your upcoming appraisal as leverage for negotiating a higher base salary. You could explain that with the expected raise, your value will soon be higher, and use that to ask for more. Also, emphasize that Noida, being closer to your hometown, is a significant factor for you, but focus primarily on securing a higher base salary or a sign-on bonus for better financial stability upfront. This way, you’re showing you're serious while also making a strong case for a better offer.
