Salary Ask

I have 3.2 years of experience in big data and I have 2 offers 11.4 LPA and 12 LPA both have some fixed and some variable components to it. And 2-3 offers and interviews are still in the pipeline. Is asking for 14 LPA fix and 2 LPA variable too much for any company?? Or should I ask for more?? I want a specific location and hybrid or remote. How should I move forward when negotiating as HR tend to say they have a budget....???

14 LPA sounds reasonable given your experience. If you really want flexibility, you can always negotiate on that front too. Hybrid/remote is highly valued now.

I feel, It’s important to know the market rates in your specific location. If you’re getting offers around 12 LPA, a little bump to 14 LPA isn’t unreasonable. Just be ready to explain why you’re worth it!

Since you have offers on the table, I’d say it’s not too much. Be confident in your ask! If they want you, they might stretch the budget. Worst case, they may offer something close.

Guys what if the HR is not responding at all. Not mails, texts or calls? What to do in such a case. He'll pop out on the DOJ and say that ohk now I'll see what I can do. This happiness time with me already
