Hi current CTC 4 
In next appraisal YOE will be 2 as data engineer, my skills are more than above avg compared to peers and salary are less than to them(others getting more because they hired from on campus)
Company generally giving 7 LPA for 2 yoe.
In last appraisal they done 4 lpa but generally giving 5 lpa this time they done less increment in name of recession 
This time I think they will give 6 lpa 
And I want more why should I get less
What do you think?

Day to Day Office

Woke up to heavy rain, got ready anyway, reached office and... it’s just me, the security guard, and one confused intern 😂
Apparently, rain = mass WFH mode now.

Anyone else’s office turns into a haunted building the moment it drizzles? Or is it just us pretending to follow “flexible culture”? 👀

Rainy day or unofficial holiday? Office feels like a ghost town today 😅

Mumbai got slammed with 100mm+ rain in just 12 hours. IMD's issued an orange alert, Metro Line 3 is down, roads are basically rivers, and the local trains are crawling. A lot of offices are half-empty or fully remote today some companies even let employees crash at work overnight.

And honestly, today was a mess for me too.
Left home at 8:30 AM thinking I could beat the rush. Got stuck at Sion for over an hour, water halfway up my legs. Auto guy ditched me mid-route, and I ended up walking 3 km just to reach an office that had 4 people and no Wi-Fi because of a power cut. 😩

Lesson learned: Never underestimate Mumbai rains, and always keep an extra pair of socks.

Anyone else go through this chaos today? Or did you wisely choose to WFH?

Rained all night in Mumbai! offices half empty today

I’ve noticed this happening more and more in my company and even in some big names where Gen Z employees just leave without any prior notice. Not even serving the notice period… sometimes not even officially resigning. Just disappearing.

And honestly, as millennials, we still feel guilty just writing the resignation email. So when we hear someone say “maza nahi aa raha” and leave without any process, it really makes us pause.

If you think HR doesn’t keep track of this, or it won’t matter later please know that it can affect future opportunities.

Leaving a job is totally okay. But leaving professionally and respectfully? That matters too. 

Let’s not burn bridges before we even cross them.

Why aren't cost audits mandatory for hospitals, colleges, and schools? 🤔

During my CMA journey, I realized these institutions—handling public funds, offering key services, and impacting lives—often lack cost oversight. 

We're seeing disturbing trends, especially in education, where schools and colleges charge a ton for uniforms, activities, transport, etc. 💸

Though non-profits in theory, many act like revenue setups, straining parents. 😔

Shouldn’t transparency and accountability be as crucial here as in manufacturing? 
Why not use regular cost audits to ensure fairness and prevent exploitation? 

Education is a right, not a business. Healthcare is a necessity, not a luxury. 

As CMAs and finance pros, we should push for cost transparency and good governance in public services. ✅
