Work life balance is good. For managers and above, Variable pay is just as good as nothing. Consider there is no variable and whatever you get is a plus. HR process is very bad, they don't answer any question, you may expect a reply from Prime minister office, but don't expect solution from HRs. The assets you get (laptop, mouse etc) are outdated.

The pay structure is often not competitive with industry standards, and increments are minimal despite years of service and consistent performance. For a company of TCS’s stature, employees expect better rewards for their efforts. Low pay, coupled with the high demands of client projects, often leads to dissatisfaction, especially when compared to peers in other organizations. Promotions at TCS are another pain point. The process is slow and lacks transparency, making it difficult for employees to plan their career progression. Despite meeting performance expectations, many employees find themselves stuck in the same role for years, waiting for a long-overdue promotion. It's a great company for the people who have experienced. And job security is the best part of TCS. I am not saying work pressure is less but less than other MNC companies.

Salary scale for freshers. Promotion and increment is too less .

They provide lot of learning opportunities like iEvolve, Udemy and Linked In learnings.

Dislikes

Salary hike is very less. Not providing work from home at all only if emergency is there. Putting pressure to do lot of trainings which is not related to work which we do in some projects. Ex: If person is working on Ab Intio, Informatica tool what is the use of doing Java, JavaScript training.

TCS is best place for those who have another source of income, it also provides the 100% job security till now. It's medical facilities is very effective and very quick.

Dislikes

Appraisal and the increment in salary is very bad and even the work life balance is also not there. The main concern is the very less salary increment and the low amount of appraisal. Many a time this concern has been raised, but management is still failed to resolve this issue. It causes the employee to leave the organization. For freshers, it is not the correct company to start their career atleast in BPS sector, not known for IT sector.
