Salary hikes. Hike policies are very bad So many politics As per my observation from DM level and higher they have very arrogant and don't care about employee. For DM there pressure fro their higher manager same for higher management. It's like chain of action final suffer will b employee only. 9 hours must work policy. If we are in very bad karma we will fall in BOA account.

...the pay is very less and there is no such thing like work culture or appraisals. Aprraisals are so minimal that you won't even notice in the salary. I have seen many freshers who working got job through college placement at below 3 LPA in tier 2 cities and working hard getting A Band in appraisal cycles but not getting promoted to next band.

Only Job security and no one will touch until any security issue happened.

...kes and even we get the hike most amount will go the the Variable pay component. Less Basic salary and will get hike 1-2k every year. TCS hasn't revised any policies, same 100 rupees petrol allows and same night shift allowance from past 9 years. Very horrible. If you allocated to Adibatla project, your life will be in Hell, only 4 hours for travell and 9 hours working.

30-40% underpaid when compared to other companies, including Indian based companies. You should be highly skilled or management pet to manage your work-life balance. In case you are an average skilled and just looking for sustain in IT industry with good job security, this is the best place. Comming to scope for learning and skill development, it is purely depends on your project to manage the time and concrete on leaning.

Dislikes

Salary, very low increment like 4% to 8%, even for the top performer, where as influence in India is inbetween 7% to 8%. Don't expect promotion with in 4 to 5yrs.No hots kill bonus. However, provision to increase salary with some skills development program, honestly not useful for mid level professionals, who can not spare additional time on learning and development due to their deliverables.

Yes initially i felt proud to be in such a firm, but had one hell of a life time experience

... of the biggest IT company of the world. There is no hikes in this organisation. People hates because of salary hikes.
