Good infrastructure and opportunity to work on large scale projects. The work culture largely depends on the manager, in my experience, it was excellent, all my team members were very helpfull.

Dislikes

Considering the industry standards, salary provided is too low. Employees cannot choose to work in their desired tech. Senior management is quite good at ignoring its employees efforts.

Salary increment is pathetic... worst... i have not seen such low hikes anywhere. Would never recommend anyone to start career with infy with such low package. May be join as lateral. And also as infy says that client is like god to them.. and then we the poor emlpoyees are treated like servants of those clients.... this needs to be corrected. Infy should treat their employees equally and give them respect that they deserve. Being an Indian MNC, be kind to indians atleast.

At Infosys, job security is robust unless one demonstrates poor performance in both projects and fails to engage in continuous learning or certifications through the Lex courses offered by the company. Additionally, maintaining work-life balance is feasible while working here, thanks to a supportive company culture. Moreover, Infosys fosters a vibrant atmosphere with diverse cultural activities, enhancing the overall work experience. It sounds like the compensation structure at Infosys for fresh graduates might not be meeting the standards many would expect, especially in terms of salary and benefits. This means that even after nearly 2.6 years of service, a BCA graduate might see an increase of only around 5k in their monthly salary. It seems like lateral entries may have more manageable growth opportunities compared to fresh graduates, potentially highlighting a discrepancy in the growth trajectory for different entry points within the company. I got many right opportunities to work on varied and new areas like salesforce, big data and ml. But its not true for majority of the workforce. Mostly you do not get a choice and the pressure to reskill and score a high Digital Quotient is high. Every quarter there is a new set of reskill topics that you need clear to meet that met-expectation appraisal rating. So you need to be on toes mostly. There are always two streams you need to cover - client commitments and infy commitments.

The compensation is awful if you stay for long in same org. There are always years where there will be 0 hike so that effectively ruins your ctc.
