Worst part is the work life balance. You either have 100% work work work with 0% personal life. Or you resign and enjoy your break.

I don't like work culture. They will pay you good amount but they except you to be available 24*7. I don't like my senior manager over their. He never appreciates. Neither approve your holidays even you inform quite in advance

Lots of learning and good pay packages

Dislikes

Horrible management and no respect for long term and loyal employees. The management needs buttering from lower level and only then people can grow. After working for 7 to 8 long years with being a very great employee one fine day you become a bad performer with no rehire. Its a shame this is how long term loyal hard working employees are treated

Pays well at the cost of your mental peace. Pay package is the best across big 4 with better %age of bonuses and annual appraisals.

I have been a part of EY GDS strategy and transactions, pursuits, tagged to FSO sector. Things that I would like to highlight about the company and the team are 1. bad work life balance 2. Culture of micro management 3. Leadership is not open to views from the junior level (Managers and below) 4. The team structure is vertical in nature with almost equal number of managers, associate managers, assistant managers, senior analysts, etc. The managers in the team usually engage in politics for a struggle to attain power. 5. Nobody is really helpful in the team, be it at your counselor or your buddy. 6. People are usually over competitive and don't share useful info with new joiners or fellow colleagues. There is a constant fight between BCM, WAM and Insurance 7. Since the managers do not have ample performance management responsibilities or fresh work, so they usually try to downgrade and bad mouth juniors to prove their supremacy 8. The leadership Ridhima Sudan (FSO) and Feroz Kudroli (Pursuits) are just focused on achieving business goals without even an ounce of empathy. Not at all bothered about employee welfare. The resource should be working, even if it is from the hospital bed. 9. Login at 8 am with logout around 8 pm. 9 hours on timesheet and 12 hours in reality
