The company doesn’t invest in the physical, psychosocial and emotional well being. WNS permeates bad culture across levels

Dislikes

WNS Global Services needs to re-evaluate its HR policies which do not have the provision of sick leave, despite in a pandemic. WNS must consider scrapping of mandatory employment bonds, and extricating money from its employees during pandemic. WNS should ensure that its employees arent asked to travel to work during lockdown, simplybecause they resigned and are serving notice period. Such unhealthy work cultures, absence of flexibility to enroll parents in health insurance cover., and poor business continuity models reflect poorly on the organisation...Read More

WNS forces its asthmatic employees to work in 8-5 schedules when the NCT is collapsing under air pollution, fails to provide leaves exceeding 3 days for an associate’s marriage or bereavement and has poor business continuity plans

Work days: Monday to Friday (Strict Timings)

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
