I had an unpleasant experience working at Webority Technologies, primarily due to the poor work quality and organizational culture. The company places little emphasis on team coordination, instead fostering internal politics between departments. There is a lack of adherence to structured processes, and Agile methodologies are not recognized or implemented, despite being a standard in software development. Additionally, there is no documentation maintained for IT employees to track their work, with tasks being assigned verbally, leading to discrepancies in task completion and deadlines. The Business Analysts (BAs) at the company demonstrated a lack of necessary skills, including inadequate proficiency in English communication and a lack of understanding of how to prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs). It appeared that much of their work was reliant on tools like ChatGPT, suggesting a significant gap in their expertise and professionalism.
