I got an offer from both the companies, manager role. Flipkart’s offer: fixed (x) + variable pay + stock Deloitte’s offer: fixed (x+1) + variable + 1.5L joining bonus Variable pay % is the same. Flipkart is offering a sizeable huge chunk in stock. What should I consider apart from compensation? Annual hikes, WLB, work culture, etc? (Note that It’s a non IT role)

If you like meaningless work then perfect place.

Dislikes

Work culture in Bangalore is very different. HR is more like a school teacher. They give you 30 minutes break and very limited holidays. Since the Hr sits in udaipur she has no knowledge of kannada holiday. They do not even give holiday on Kannada Rajyotsav. Work is pathetic. They heavily rely on AI tools. You cannot expect any kindof growth. They let you choose 2 national holidays for the entire year. Salary date is 10th and sometimes can go beyond that. They hire all freshers who ard redy to work for peanuts and even if you are the experienced one you will be ask you to work under fresher who lacks knowledge nd skill. The company mostly aims to save money instead of gaining profit....Read More
