I have almost 16 Years of Experience,worked in 6 companies.This is the most unsecure company.Mostly there will be late night calls till 1AM or 2AM,I came considering Work Life Balance but almost zero work life balance.Even on leave,I have worked.If you are in Trivandrum,you can consider UST or else just leave it.

1. The appraisal process at the company lacks structure and clarity. Managers are unaware of the proper procedures, and both managerial and HR teams fail to take responsibility, often deflecting issues onto each other. 2. Managers and higher-level personnel, such as delivery managers and their superiors, lack sufficient technical expertise. Instead of providing meaningful support or solutions, they push employees to work under the same ineffective approach. 3. Employee queries are often met with hypothetical answers, and even when mistakes are on the client’s end, these managers avoid addressing them, instead prolonging the issue unnecessarily. 4. The leadership displays a typical service-class mindset, prioritizing prolonged projects to secure financial benefits rather than efficient delivery. Employees are not offered any perks, and basic gestures like acknowledging birthdays or anniversaries are overlooked. 5. The company's IT support is inadequate, with the IT team often lacking the necessary knowledge to resolve operating system-level issues effectively. 6. Overall, there is a pervasive lack of motivation to come to the office, driven by poor leadership, insufficient support, and an unengaging work environment. 7. The company claims to promote openness and transparency, but in reality, there is significant micromanagement. Managers lack awareness of basic company processes, raising questions about their competence and leadership roles. 8. The office lacks proper workspace, offers no games or fun activities to relieve work pressure, and does not provide snacks, contributing to a dull and unengaging environment. 9. Even basic gestures like providing a welcome kit are delayed for a year, making employees question the company’s culture and commitment to motivation. 10. The office environment is described as unwelcoming, akin to a graveyard, with a lack of proper infrastructure, including inadequate meeting rooms, insufficient parking space, and no formal company structure. 1. No appraisals. 2. No qualified employees. 3. No feedback discussions, managers have no clue about promotions, appraisals, variable pay, increments, etc. 4. HRs don't even bother connecting with the employees. No discussions about the motivation, what the employees need. For 6 months they don't even know who are the employees they are tagged to. 5. No company formal structure. Feedbacks shared with the management goes into bin. They do what they feel like doing. 6. No food arrangements, no proper offices, no meeting rooms, no snacks, no coffee/tea, no gym, no breakout games etc. 7. The moment you enter the office, you feel like you are in a graveyard, where there is total silence. Lack of meeting rooms, forces people to take calls from their bay disturbing everyone around them. 8. Everything blocked on your laptops. At times even client websites are blocked. 9. It's a service based company, So I can't say what I like most. Only good thing is if you have skill demanded in market, somehow you can get project if you move to bench.

They just hire to fulfill the immediate position. If the project is suddenly rampped down, they force us to put papers. No other projects are available. It's like consulting company and contract based jobs. There are no long term projects here. If you looking for job security and planning to settle down for a longer periods, then this might not be a right place for you.

UST is like my second home. I have been part of this company for a long time and what makes me stay here is , the comfort I am getting while working.

Regarding salary hikes, it's is better compared to some other MNC s, but should be focusing on other benefits, festival bonuses etc.

-I have met good people who promotes healthy work culture and doesnt allow to work beyond normal working hours. -Celebrations are celebrated at peak.

-There are worst people who suck the soul out of you, promotes "modern day slavery" as "professionalism" and forces everyone to change the mindset as "work is life". These kind of people are the one who ruins the Indian IT sector, unfortunately I was part of such a team. -Poor work management, no proper tracking of work record and lack of employees in the team which will result in working overtime till late night ,work during weekends and cannot put a sick leave when its urgent which will burnout the soul and even calls you on phone during off hours and off days expecting 24x7 availability in front of office laptop. -It all depends on the luck on which team you lands on. And most important thing is if you have influence and contacts inside the organisation then you will enjoy the UST life, else it will be a lifelong trauma. -Dont ever join UST by looking at social media marketings, promotions and social media contents....Read More
