If you want to be a banker, than SBI is better than it's other peers, PSUs and pvt. banks in terms of salary and allowances.

No work life balance of Officers Lot of Ego clash with seniors and posts having authority in LHO Or AO. Using frequent transfers to difficult postings as a weapon against the employee by the controllers. Officers life are degrading day by day so much that clericals don't even want to get promoted even if they are completely eligible as well as capable to become officer.
